‘alchemy’

A power or process that transforms something in a mysterious or impressive way

Dream it.

Asha got her start in the professional world as a Registered Nurse, working in multiple hospitals and specialties, she has a strong connection with helping people. Since discovering how miraculous pilates was in her own body, she became invested in the method and completed her Diploma of Professional Pilates, with the internationally recognised PilatesITC.

While studying, Asha completed practical time at a classical studio in Margaret River, Tonic Pilates, learning from and being mentored by two knowledgable and experienced pilates teachers where she continued to work once qualified. She also went on to join forces with a group of 5 other Margaret River local pilates instructors, opening a new group class pilates studio, Tonic Pilates Collective.

Continuing to practice as a Nurse, Asha moved back to Bunbury in 2021 and by opening Alchemy Pilates she is now endeavouring to put into practice all the best skills from places she has worked and people she has learned from. Her vision for Alchemy Pilates in to create a space of calm, and a pilates sanctuary in amongst the busy main street, where people can take time from their busy lives regain some connection and strength in their body.

Build it.

Alchemy is a space where people can feel comfortable, to be themselves, and to make their pilates practice whatever they need it to be. To truely gift themselves an hour to be present, to listen to their body, and to rest their mind.

A place for men and women of all ages, body types and backgrounds to explore the unique potential that is the pilates method. This form of movement is never ending, always developing, evolving and creating. There is room for imagination and creativity, boundaries and control alike.

Alchemy is decked out with Classical style equipment from Empower Pilates, designed and manufactured to Joseph Pilates’ specifications. This creates an appreciation for how this equipment can teach us about our bodies; how to correctly engage, how to breathe, lift and lengthen, and be assisted and resisted in the right ways.

Above all, feel welcome, have fun, be a part of the community we create, of happy, healthy movement lovers.

Move. Well. Simple.
